The weather has definitely been picking up these last couple of weeks. I spent the afternoon with him after getting off a little early from work today. It was a beautiful day, we both seemed relaxed and happy to spend the afternoon together. I tickled on the thought of pulling a white out, but my pallet was craving a nice summer red. After a couple minutes we agreed on having the Meiomi Pinot Noir 2012. The Meiomi was one of our first reds that we fell in love with because of it’s sweet and friendly nature. This was just perfect on the hot summer day! We poured ourselves a glass and chatted the afternoon away on Daniel’s Patio. Quite a contrastive afternoon for us.
The Meiomi Pinot Noir is no match for other Pinot Noirs and in addition to its greatness, it is also very affordable making it your to-go choice of red. In the event that you have not yet had it, consider inviting over two or three friends who love wine and sample it. This way, you will find that you all agree on one thing, which is the refreshing taste the wine provides! Get some today and you will be glad you did.
NOTES: The Meiomi Pinot Noir 2012 has dark fruit aromas with hints of vanilla and tobacco. This wine has layers of fresh berries that keeps you craving for a fresh new sip. Highly recommended on a hot summer day, when you’re craving a cab that’s not too complex and bold. Meiomi will compliment the summer heat and cool your body with its elegant sweet oak finish. A pinot noir that speaks maturity with a young spirit! Truly balanced and flavorful.
Good wine is characterized by a number of factors such as smell and you will have to agree that Meiomi Pinot Noir has aromas that will tease your taste buds.
This medium weight wine also has a wonderful taste that has appealed to many and you only need to get it so as to experience it yourself. If you are looking for a smooth wine that has no acidity or a harsh finish, Meiomi would be one of your top choices.
Update – I have bought this for a couple dinners and as gifts, still a favorite amongst many!
